The tradition of distilling pálinka in Panyola goes back to the 1700s, and Panyolai Szilvórium founded in 2002 still produces its products with the same faith and effort that were characteristic of its predecessors. The Pálinkas of Panyola are among the most beloved and most sophisticated drinks of Hungary. The acknowledgement is due to the mixture of how the products are prepared, the experience that is passed down from generation to generation, the attention to detail and all that honest work.
Our company only produces and distributes products of a guaranteed quality designed by ourselves that are made from excellent raw materials – sorted fruit of high sugar content meant for human consumption – using traditional recipes. The philosophy of our company is that you can only be present in the market permanently, if you create high-quality products.
In the course of the production procedures, we primarily use traditional flow technologies, but we make efforts at using modern professional methods as well. We produce pálinka using pot stills, which is characterised by the following: the volume of the pot is less than 1,000 litres, the still and the connected structure is made from copper, and we use double distillation (with refining).
Our company operates as a manufacture, so all of the Pálinkas of Panyola are handcrafted products representing high quality.
Our firm is characterised by research and development, and active consideration of new methods, procedures and flow technologies. In the course of manufacturing out products, in addition to investigating the historic background, we use the latest results of development pertaining to the field we work in. However, we do not limit creative imagination or unique requests.
